Gibbard Tractors stock some unique sales brochures for early, vintage & classic farm tractors, including British, American and selected European makes. Over the years, we have sourced many early and rare brochures from the British Ivel to the American Wallis Bear. Literature for the golden age of the tractor from the 1930s to the 1950s is one of our specialities – colourful brochures to grace any collection. We also have literally thousands of brochures for the more modern tractors from the 1960s classics to present day machines. Our literature covers the whole world – not just Britain and the USA, but France, Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, East Europe, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Russia, India and China. The popular makes we cover include: Allis-Chalmers, Caterpillar, David Brown, Case, Ferguson, Ford and Fordson, International Harvester, John Deere, Marshall, Massey Ferguson, Massey-Harris, Nuffield and Leyland. We always carry large numbers of brochures for Ford Conversions, including County and Roadless, as well as catering for the growing interest in the large high-horsepower 4wd machines.
Original technical literature is difficult to source because it often had a hard life in the tractor toolbox. However, we usually carry several hundred different manuals for most of the popular British, American and some European and Japanese makes. These include instruction books, spare part books, repair and workshop manuals from the 1920s to the 1980s. Add value to your tractor with the original operator’s manual!
We have listed some of our tractor manuals on the website, but contact us for details of our full stock or with your particular requirements. Simply click on your chosen tractor make to view our range in stock.
